It is always worth setting aside, for a week or so, a piece that you think has been completed and then taking time to look at it again. More often than not you will spot something that needs tweaking, e.g., a highlight to be made brighter, a detail accidentally left out, an extra staple or two to tidy up the back of a canvas. And don't forget that all-important photograph before you frame. I'm going to start looking again at my unsold work to try and work out why they have not appealed to buyers. Perhaps, they are unfinished...
